The Decider ran in 2000 based largely on his "business experience" - how'd that work out for the country?
Without critical thinking skills, i.e. the ability to analyze information, all the "business experience" in the world doesn't help.
Successful business people know they don't have to do "it" all; they have the critical thinking skills to hire the right person for the job and follow-up when necessary.
Those less successful always feel they have to do "it" all because, afterall, nobody knows more than them.
Then there are those who inherit a business, as a whole they are probably least successful because they've never had to hone critical thinking skills - i.e. The Decider - and rely on what others tell them, e.g. accepting the desired requirements for a Vice President from a person that just happened to fit those requirements exactly!

You gave an example - here's mine...I managed benefits for the division of a major household products corp; I planned/took payrolls into account/issued scads of reports - am I qualified to be president of the USA? You probably manage some/many/perhaps all aspects of a business - are you qualified to be president of the USA?
