All I am saying it that it doesn't sound (and that's MY opinion - of which you seem to have great difficulting understanding - just like its the sell-side analysts opinions that there is only a 60-70% chance of success in the trial, as opposed to 95-100% - you see, there's a difference between being overly optimistic and downright smart enough to do the odds) like Harvey is as optimistic as he was a year ago when he said (several times) that a 2nd interim finding "could" lead to an NDA filing.
Harvey knows what you and I know. The 2nd interim didn't lead to a filing (which Harvey and Merck PUBLICALLY discussed could happen) - and this would lead a rationale human being to weigh the odds versus a guarantee.
