I would not expect that Sandoz would allow sales to the pharmacy channel to deprive the hospital channel. I think that would send a bad signal to the hospitals.
The inference is that Sandoz has ramped capacity to the 44% level.
IF true, then CW has strategically down played the rate at which capacity could be expanded - something I suggested would be a good move.
MNTA: I asked the Board some time ago whether and how fast MNTA/Sandoz could ramp production. Clearly, this question has been emphatically answered and some misplaced doubts erased.
FWIW, I wrote a prescription for enoxaparin two days ago and just saw the patient back in the office today. Asked her to bring in the syringes to make sure she was using the proper technique.
She had them filled at Walgreen's and they supplied her with the Sandoz product.
The prefilled syringes were pretty straightforward and similar to a Lovenox prefilled syringe.
