I doubt it. It has been said multiple times they were gonna use industrial plastic. That is the problem. There are too many buyers for it. CNBC show tonight was a great example. Even Waste Management SELLS the plastic they don't recycle. I recall several people claiming JBI was gonna get free plastic from Waste Management, but the show proved otherwise.
The only way I see getting free plastic is scooping it out of a landfill, but that won't actually be free when you consider the logistics will cost a fortune and likely be more than the fuel produces, so it would lose money anyway. It would be great if JBI could make oil from plastic profitably, but from all the evidence they have presented so far, I highly doubt it. Too much ready shoot aim going on here.
Why didn't CNBC put JBI on their show tonight? They have JBI listed on their site to get a stock quote so they have to know all about them. If CNBC thought the JBI story was news worthy I think they would have put them on the show. That says alot right there.
51 billion bottles a year in the USA are used....lol...22percent are recycled...where is the 78 %??
They are sold overseas for CASH!
i thought you said after the stack test jbii was game over for you?
Not me, for JBI. They didn't mention the type of plastic in their stack test PR which leads me to believe it was a handpicked plastic, not just landfill waste. I'll be around to see how the story ends. There were many claims being made projecting their financial future with having 2,500 machines and all, I can't wait to see how it ends. It might make CNBC afterall. American Greed is a great show!
