Cycloners...this is the GE ECOMAGINATION statement as to what will happen with the contest results. From what I can see, out of over 3700 entries for creating power, cyclone power ranked number 27. That is quite something. Great Job Harry and Team Cyclone~!
October 1st --Ten Weeks, Thousands of people driving clean energy solutionsThank you! The last ten weeks have taught us that this is a valuable forum for new ideas. GE has been delighted with the response to the Challenge. The number of ideas and engagement on the topic of digital energy innovation has been even higher than we expected. Although the Challenge voting ended at midnight on 9.30.10, we have been inspired by the responses and are working on ways to keep this digital platform open as a place to share ideas that can help all of us work together to solve tough clean energy problems.
We’ve pledged to announce the idea that received the most votes by October 7th, and to announce the innovation award winners by early November. Given the large number of entries, we need time to properly evaluate business plans and determine those for investment, commercialization or other potential partnerships. So stay tuned.
In the meantime, the site will continue serve as a forum for innovation and as a source for ongoing news and announcements related to the Challenge.
