February 21, 2005 -- TAMPA — Alex Rodriguez said he was unaware of the daily Red Sox attacks on his character even if the baseball universe easily could recite them word for word. However, if the World Champions are trying to invade A-Rod's head, he says they should conserve their oxygen.
Many believe the constant criticism of A-Rod by the Red Sox is an attempt to muck up his mind. Yesterday, upon Rodriguez's arrival at Legends Field, he said that's impossible.
