I've gotten a few of those in the last month (2). I forwarded to paypal who responded that it was a scam and that Paypal always addresses the addressee by name as in "Dear john Smith". The ip , when put into "whois" always comes up bogus

I received the same email recently too. I don't have a paypal account. If that's the one you all are worried about, I suspect they did not break into ihub. I get phishing emails about once a week for places I don't have an account. These jerks usually buy address lists or send out harvestor bots around the net.

I got that same email yesterday, I didn't click on any of the links, but I called paypal and they told me it was a fake. They also sent me an email on how to tell what is from paypal and what is a fraud
