Here's a more current (2009) look at Niobec with new owner IAMGOLD. Note, particularly the numbers in the box at the bottom on the page, and the "mining and processing" section relative to what was discussed in the first link, and what SRSR is talking about ?
Web, I have long thought that there were things going on behind the scenes that haven't been released for obvious reasons. This is a huge project with incredible potential that has to be done the right way. Any mistake could cost the company and shareholders a lot of money and I am satisfied with what is going on and the company silence although like most shareholders I do get impatient at times.
I believe we are much closer than many here think to a major announcement. You have made some great points and raised some great issues. With this company you have to read between the lines and take the subtle hints.
My Fidelity Active Trader is giving me a lot of hints as to the future. I believe there has been slow but significant accumulation by someone and they are doing their best to keep the sp down to maximize that accumulation by scaring up shares. When that major announcement is made the cheap shares are gone. Someone gets it along with a lot of longs here.
IMO there is no way that the NI report hasn't been received and that report is in the hands of Dahlman Rose and being used as part of the pre feasibility study. We all will see the results of that in the next PR.
I think you are on to something with that thought. You can IMO listen to verification in Scotts own words with the link below.
Scott has always considered Sarissa a “confirmation company” not an exploration company. This of course is due to all the historical exploration already done. He has considered this property much more advanced due to all the hard work already finished. This is confirmed by this interview back in Feb 09.
Here he refers to the Hawk zone as a 20 million ton historic reserve (might have something to do with the 68 holes drilled). He goes on to say that the bulk sample of the ore (from the 400 tons removed from making the adit) that was sent to the Colorado School of Mines Research Foundation to test and design an extraction process that gets the niobium out of the host rock is invaluable historical data and an asset to be used when we look at pre production and pre feasibility. WE ARE DEFINATLY FURHTER AHEAD THAN MOST REALLY KNOW. IMO Scott has been holding back huge progress as a means to protect the company with the thought that when he releases all the Info. it will be too late for anyone who wants us to fail to do anything about it.
