I am not sure I understand your question - I shorted JPM this morning at 20.45, after having covered most of my previous shorts in the mid to upper teens. I anticipate being able to cover again in the mid teens or even lower if more bad news comes out on them.
The rumors of a potential buyout by ONE are either false or a move supported with assistance by the Fed, in which case it would be a take under, not a take over. No one in their right mind would pay a premium for JPM's risk situation, especially with Argentina in technical default.
Just my opinion, though.
