Funny how deficits go up when you actually put things on the books.

Obama should have kept them off along with TARP and the stimulus.

He sure would have shown you guys how to balance a budget.

The numbers in bold are a direct result of the Bush years. Notice that the 9-30-2000 to 9-30-2001 numbers are not in bold because Clinton signed the budget for that year. If one understands how our Federal Government budget cycle works then one can make intelligent decisions and analysis. So your hero under his watch took the budget deficits and added over 6.1 Trillion or more than double the National Debt in his 8 years. Further your hero saddled us with two unwinnable wars with cost us close to 200 Billion or more per year with some additional costs that could amount to another $2 trillion in veteran benefits for health care over their life. Plus add the $800 Billion in Tax cuts for the wealthy that Republicans want and there is further deficit spending that you applaud.
