No kidding. That 1000 points is a high probility event, now that Zeev has suddenly turned so negative after a massive ramp. We are gonna see many shorts hurting themselves in the coming week. Then we get to witness the same old routine where people come out of the woodworks to blame Zeev, and get reminded that Zeev's reduction in long exposure is not equivalent to recommending increasing short exposure.

I would not count on it. In any event for those playing the Dow gambit here is a "recap"

IBM at $61.08, stopped at $60 loss of 1.8%. Reentered (6% more shares) at $56.5 on 10/4/02. S.L.
$53.5. This one is closed at EOD price of $73.95 a gain of 27% (21% from the $61.08 plus 6% for buying back at $ 56.5 6% more shares)

AA at $19.35 (SL $17.55 raise to $19.75), sell above $25. Current price: $22.79 (max $22.89)
EK at $26.80 (SL $24.90), sell above $31. This one is closed at todays' close of $32.25 for $20% (it reached $34. two days ago.
MMM at $116 (SL $108.25 raise to 119.88), sell at $138 or higher. Current price: $125.31 (max 126.50)
XOM at $32.50 (SL $29.90 raise to $34.44), sell above $40. Current price:$36.00 (max $36.50)
MSFT at $44.75 (SL $41.20 raised to $48.88), sell above $51. Current price: $53.15, I think that here simply raise the stop to $50.88 and let the profits run a little longer.

So far twp positions sold for more than 20% profits, the other four positions are doing fine. For those wanting to "reenter" on a pull back if we get one, I would suggest reentries at $29.50 for EK and $69 for IBM.
