Lucent to Seek Shareholder Approval of Reverse Stock Split

Murray Hill, New Jersey, Oct. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Lucent Technologies Inc. will seek shareholder approval for a reverse stock split.

The ratio will be set by the company's board at a level that is expected to be in a common share price in the range of $15 to $25 each, Lucent said in a statement distributed by PR Newswire.

In reedit, just doubled up again on COO here at $54.42, and also doubled up on BA at $28.75 (this one, the whole position including some from above $32 will go on a print of $28.10. Took a minor loss on MERQ here at $22.14 ($.41), giving back a little of yesterday gains.
