Steph, it's amazing....the people holding these signs have a smile on their faces and look so normal compared to the crazed teabaggers who are foaming at the mouth and reeking of hate.

Yeah, they are cool up there .. one time a friend and i were hitch-hiking into Alaska ..

the entry or not man said, "will you be working?" .. "maybe, if we can find a job" .. that was dumb as he replied ..

"sorry, you can't come in, you don't have a work permit" .. "ok, we won't work" ..

he asked, "how much money do you have?" .. "$400" .. "sorry, you can't come in because it's not enough" .. lol ..

so we got a nice little white piece of paper which said on it "refused entry to the USA" ..

lol, we went back toward the border a bit (it was in between the two custom points back then) and talked our way into fighting a forest fire ..

3 days later a guy with a pick-up truck who only had to wave at the border guy smuggled us in .. ended up in Fairbanks ..

then the rains came .. Reagan declared it a disaster area and we just got out in time ..

it was a fun time ..
