If you read the fine print in Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin's 8/28 rally ads you'd know all the money raised was not going to their special ops foundation - Beck and Palin had expenses to cover, and if you've read anything about how they both live you'd know they both live large.
BTW, did you ever figure out what that miracle Glenn Beck promised for 8-28 was?
what are you talking about? Two weeks ago they raised $50 million for SOWF. And you fault them for that?
You might want to check the fine print. Last I saw, Glen Beck's rally had people thinking they were giving money to veterans, but the fine print said that the money would go towards paying for the event (which would include Beck's salary), and whatever left over would go towards the veterans.
Did you give money or want to give money to that event? I can't imagine it would feel good to find out you were paying for Beck's salary, instead of the good cause you thought it would go towards. And you know, that organization is under no obligation to tell you how much of your money actually ended up going towards that cause.
Religion and self-promotion. Who believes that the date of the 'Restoring Honor' rally was a coincidence? Who believes that Beck's comment saying it was coincidence was a lie? How many lies does Beck before you question his integrity?
There are heaps more .. If Fox News, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh were truly opposed to expanded government power, where were they when George Bush and Dick Cheney were expanding federal power in virtually every realm, driving up the national debt to unprecedented proportions, destroying middle-class economic security in order to benefit the wealthiest, and generally ensuring government intrusion into every aspect of people's lives? They were supporting it and cheering it on. That's what gives the lie to their pretense of "small-government" rhetoric. These citizen protests have a core of truth and validity to them -- it would be bizarre if citizens weren't enraged by what is taking place -- but that is all being misdirected and exploited for ends that have nothing to do with the interests (or even their claimed beliefs) of the protesters themselves. .. much more .. http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2009/09/14/resentment/index.html http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=43719133&txt2find=%20style=%27background-color:yellow;%27%3Ebeck|lies

Guess what? The hammer and the sickle are symbols of the working class. Long before the industrial revolution we were an agrarian society. The working class were farmers, builders and laborers. It was this class of worker who revolted against the monarchy in France and Russia. Just as in America our ancestors revolted against the monarchy of England. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?Message_id=41184361&txt2find=art
Don't tell me Glen beck is not racist .. see racist David McKalip
Don't tell me Glen Beck does not incite anger and violence .. in fact he has so much he even felt he had to encourage his supporters not to be violent AND to be respectful to the president of the United?? States .. lolol .. it's so funny to see the mad haters about, who adore Beck yet ignore his suggestion that they show respect to their president ..
I certainly oppose nearly all Beck's beliefs and also at times question his method of expression. This is particularly true when Beck makes bold claims like the Obama "racist" statement. Ultimately however, Beck and his supporters can make their claims using free speech and his opponents, like me, can counter his claims with our free speech. All of this back and forth is part of a democracy and in the end hopefully reason prevails. Violence, on the other hand, only begets more violence and the destruction of the Democratic process. So once more I say kudos to Glenn Beck this time for these remarks. Now stay tuned for my next post in which I prove Beck wrong on health care, Cash for Clunkers, or whatever other topic he expounds upon for the day. .. Don't tell me that Murdoch is not just about personal power and money, that he is objective, that he gives a hoot for health care for all, or two hoots for the ordinary worker.
Don't tell me that Obama is focusing on Fox instead of focusing on the Bush wars he inherited, or on health, care reform, or on employment or on anything else.
Don't tell me any of those things as none of it is true.
Don't tell me that Beck didn't say that he could not debunk the FEMA camps.
