Ultimately, Libby tied himself to the wrong apron strings and got burned. Cheney, Bush and company allowed him to take the fall and he got caught lying trying to weasal his way clear. The lesson is not to be loyal to people that expect you to do rotten stuff, because it is not only wrong, it is stupid as well. He may still have money to cushion the rest of the his life, but his name is tarnished forever and you can't do much about that despite the attempts by FOX. A gig on FOX or some RW talkfest is about all that is left for him, but he doesn't seem to be an on-air kind of guy. But then, neither does Gordon Liddy, so who knows.
