I have heard dems say all that ....however, we don't have a tv station and we do not have any sort of a lock on radio..
Democrats still get a bit of air time. Problem is, they usually waste it on things that quite frankly aren't worth bringing up. The Republicans have a unified message, and a set of speaking points that they repeat ad nausium whenever they get a chance.
I think the real ideological issue here is that people are frustrated with the economy, and they want something that works. They are only interested in the Republicans, because the Democrats are in office, and it's part of the regular flip-flop that non-politically-savvy Americans do: blame the guy in charge, and vote in the other party.
So what Democrats need to do is illustrate what makes them different from the Republicans. They need to show that Republicans only know how to make one class of people better off, and that's not the class of people that makes up 99% of America.
So if people want to be frustrated that things aren't moving fast enough, that's a legitimate argument, but it should at least be pointed out that we are moving in the right direction. Voting the other party into office means even more pain for 99% of the country, and more bonuses for the 1% who don't need it.
