Rockrat - LEK was under contract by TEVA at one point and did work on Copaxone. afterwards Novartis took over LEK and TEVA cancel the contract with LEK....something like this was mentioned on this site here.
If I remember correctly LEK was the marketing partner for Copaxone in Slovekia until a few years ago, before Lek was bought by SANDOZ\NOVARTIS. Because of that received the original dossier of Copaxone from TEVA and subbmited it to the local MOH.
Teva tried to claim that SANDOZ used that knowladge for the generic product development via stolen proprietry know how. If sandoz proved that the product was developed by Momenta without any know how even coming from LEK or that the development was already completed when LEK was bought than Teva's arument is falling...
I think that they proved that and therefore that claim is erased.
