the process still works.

Not to me it doesn't. And I don't mean to assault you. If Al Gore had rightfully become President....the world and this country would look NOTHING like it does today. Elections have consequences and because of that stolen 2000 election, millions of people would still be alive today.

No Iraq, no Afghanistan, no massive unemployment, no crazy right-wing supreme court. I can't even talk about it anymore. I want to cry when I think of the possibilities where we would be as a society today. Good night.

"I speak out against a KNOWN dictator, and it turns out I'm the one whose getting assaulted here"

Well wait a second. That guy's practically a saint by comparison to the dictators we did support in Latin America. Here's a partial list:

Pinochet
Stroessner
Somoza
Batista
Duarte
D'Aubisson
Duvallier (papa)
Duvallier (baby)

At least you don't see death squads and body dumps in Cuba. Can't exactly say the same for El Salvador or Guatemala or Nicaragua (before the "communists" took over) or Chile etc.

We'll forgo the list of our atrocities in the rest of the world for now.

But no one took issue with you being anti-Castro. You got called on repeating some really obvious propaganda.

Consider this as well. Had we accepted Castro, he'd have been gone long ago... the retired father of a thriving democracy in the Caribbean. Castro deposed a dictator. We declared war on him and drove him out of the community of nations.

By the way our major trading partner, financier and the industrial heartland of our free world is actually the world's largest communist dictatorship. I don't see Forbes abusing China's leaders with lies and innuendo regarding their "secret personal fortunes".
