I'd want to see proof that it has been the defendant taking care of her all this time? If it has then the request has some merit.

Yet, even if he has I'd want a COMPLETE financial records of the time she has been sick to see if he would have had the means to hire a CNA or a Caregiver during that time meaning his care was not a necessity. A caregiver could provide these services while he spent some contemplation time in the grey bar hotel.

If after seeing not enough finances to hire a CNA then I'd have to ask how do you expect to support your family under house arrest that you are asking for?

Do you have the skill set besides scamming people to make money at home?

Would it be better to go do your time so when you get out you could support your family.
