One of the major problems with Connectyx is no communication with shareholders and yes they have announced a large number of ventures, associations and projects (my favorite used to be Survivor Med-Flash to replace military dog tags; see the 8/12/2008 press release)…but they never—never---ever come back with a report outlining the success or failures of their ventures…. I will try to explain the only thing up in the air as follows:
Should you have some “free” money or some money to burn it may be worth a shot if and only if financing occurs right after the D is removed from the trading symbol. This train of thought requires you to drop all emotions about the R/S for the moment and assume (keeping in mind that assuming is always dangerous) that the people around Ronn, with an emphasis on the somewhat impressive advisory board they have and especially the people at CP Capital Securities are not all corrupt idiots.
If everything is on the up and up then a financing agreement favorable to Connectyx should be announced soon. If a financing agreement between Cp Capital or their agent and Connectyx isn’t announced within 30 days or so of them dropping the D off of their trading symbol---then common sense indicates that maybe Connectyx really didn’t have any legitimate reason for the reverse split after all and that the claims some people are making that Ronn is driving a pump and dump donkey show start to have some validity.
Absent angry emotion, the assumption all along since they hired CP Capital Securities in May is that the financing company after doing their supposed due diligence advised Connectyx management that in order for a financing deal to come to be--a large number of common and most likely preferred shares would have to be made available as collateral for the financing. An ill-advised reverse split was the vehicle Ronn choose to make more shares available. Just a side note, I believe they would have survive through all this much better if they had simply had a press conference and explained that they needed more shares for a major financing deal and because of that they were going to raise the authorized number of shares to 2.5 billion. If explained right it would have not been popular, but there would have been a lot less anger….so back to the last paragraph, if no financing deal comes soon---RUN and forget any plays around the triple zeros.
One of the warnings being given on this board is to be aware of a run of seemingly good press releases right before the knife slides into your back…I think this warning should be heeded….and this makes your timing much harder if you want to make a play should you pick up a few million shares at the triple zero level. Of Course volume-lots of volume is needed for you to make a play and that remains to be seen if this stock is going to generate the huge volume days we saw not too long ago.
The one sure thing going for this stock is emotion…even the very, very, very anger who have sworn on a stack of Bibles that they will never have anything to do with this company again are going to get nervous if volume starts hitting 50 to a 100 million shares a day and they see they can pick up a few million shares for a grand or less---the temptation to supposedly get back at Ronn through turning a profit will be too much for at least half of them…emotion can really drive a stock and crazy strong emotions can make for a real bazaar trading experience.
To be very truthful here, I do not know what I would do if today was the first day I ever heard of Connectyx…for a pink sheets company they look pretty good and I think that is one of the reasons so many people are concerned about getting the word out about how deceitful Ronn was with the R/S. I am one of the individuals he spoke directly too and told me no reverse splits and I also have an e-mail from him where I asked him about any R/S coming and his reply belittled the thought that anyone could/would believe a reverse split was coming down the road. I posted his e-mail reply on this board, but do not remember the post number.
Anyway, I hope I have given you something to think about and good luck with all of your plays…
