As a little proof that owning small caps can be harmful to your portfolio during the summer. The seasonal trade would be to start looking at buying for the Nov - March period where the summer dogs turn into the winters superstars.
I generally like to start putting together my shopping list in late august or early September and nibble as I see opportunities. My list is generally heavy in small techs with lots of cash and little debt (incase I'm wrong and there's no bounce - which does happen but rarely)
My shopping list this year will be very light on biotech as I'm not seeing many bargains - but there are a few on my radar but still 20%+ away from levels where I would begin to accumulate in any size.
There are myriad contract manufacturing organizations that can offer those kinds of services. If all PPHM ends up doing is manufacturing the FoB’s that some other company designs and develops, that does not meet my definition of being a serious player in the FoB arena.
