LOl, i thought when i flicked through the list i might, for the while, have one or two little tidbits up on many of you Yanks.

Hope that not a derogatory term there. Don't mean it to be.

Pubs here used to be like toilets, tile floors, bit 'sniffy', now most all are carpeted, all have mini casino sections
with many patrons pulling rather than chatting. Oops, no .. levers have gone .. all slots are push button now.

All have ATMs for ready cash of course, too. Sure glad i've kicked that habit. Chuckle, self banned 'til Nov. 3.

Many have closed, but still three within 15 minutes walk of me.
