Please tell me you're kidding. I can't tell anymore.
Metter asked for a move from EDNY to SDNY. He eventually withdrew it (per the link)and in the process his lawyer referred to the Southern District of Texas.....in obvious error and meaning to say New York.
I thought, and now I'm confused anew, that the withdrawn motion to move to the SDNY is what the judge was referring to in the current docket item.....and that she had somehow overlooked that it had been withdrawn when she decided to adjourn pending the resolution of a withdrawn motion.
The only "live" venue issue that I know of is the movement of the class action to the EDNY:
08/13/2010 63 ORDER: The parties are directed to advise the Court by August 20, 2010, why the case should not be transferred to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a), for the convenience of the parties and in the interests of justice, in view of the pendency of related civil and criminal litigation in the Eastern District of New York. (Signed by Judge Laura Taylor Swain, Part I, on 8/13/2010) (jpo) (Entered: 08/16/2010)
Maybe you've heard about a change in the BK venue from SDNY, but I don't think that I have. Have I?
Are we at all close?
