I actually did it a couple of times, did it on a stem cell one a few years back and got out within two weeks and made about a $100k, on the other one I just stayed in way too long, believed the PR's which never came about.. I went there, they had 640 acres in Sand & Gravel just outside of New Orleans right after katrina, interviewed the truck drivers at gas stops with full loads taking to the levies, business all around,
had other investors there to back me up, that 100K turned into $750, and I stayed in about two years had five winners in a row before that, and came out about even,
again, had we done more DD on the Principals we would have gotten out a lot sooner and a lot happier.. that's my point,
you have to look at it as if it's monopoly money, sometimes it's easier moving $50k than it is to place a $20 bet at a craps table. At least with $50k you are somewhat still in control.
Taken a diffrent approach this time, getting in at the bottom and waiting for something to happen.
