Hogs, I'm all for tax cuts when:
A. They target the people most likely to benefit from them
B. They aren't in terms of credits that only benefit the wealthy class
C. They are paid for and do not involve deficit spending to enable
Bush's tax cuts failed in all three areas. They benefit the rich the most, they involve many credits that most working class people cannot take advantage of, and they were never paid for, and only ended up increasing the deficit.
If you want to do what Kennedy suggested and spend taxpayer money to spur the economy, then you can go ahead and join the rest of us Democrats who are already trying to do that.
