Has someone pulled that out of SNY's data? (not sarcastic - really am curious as to cost of manufacturing (and associated taxes) as a percentage of wholesale cost)
SNY does not disclose COGS for individual products; however, it’s very clear that Lovenox, which does not require a bioreactor, is much cheaper to manufacture than a typical glycoprotein. The production cost for a dosing unit of Lovenox is likely in the same ballpark as the production cost for a dosing unit of non-analogue insulin, the simplest protein drug.
