#354145 RE: choad #354139

Hi Choad, no I haven't flown the coop. Just got busy with other things and haven't had too much time to follow the market much less trade stocks. Should be finishing up the deluge in a few weeks hopefully. It has been good actually, I was getting stale and burned out watching the sideways action and could use a little recharge time. Massacre a few razor clams for me, no telling when I'll ever have time to go after some.

Gold Reach - Grayd - Announce 102m Grading 0.44% Cu and 0.46 g/t Au First Step-out Hole from Discovery Hole S04-4 Successful

Friday February 4, 9:30 am ET

VANCOUVER, Feb. 4 /CNW/ - Gold Reach Resources Ltd. (TSX Venture: GRH - News) and Grayd Resource Corporation (TSX Venture: GYD - News) are pleased to announce that hole S05-8 intersected 102.1 m grading 0.44% Cu and 0.46 g/t Au (including 52.5 m grading 0.54% Cu and 0.55 g/t Au). This intersection is within a 159.7 m interval grading 0.35% Cu and 0.40 g/t Au. Hole S05-08 was collared 100 metres north of discovery hole S04-4 (148 m grading 0.29% Cu and 0.27 g/t Au). Mineralization in S05-08 starts immediately beneath the overburden cover at a depth of 18.3 metres.

Hole S05-07, collared 100 m southeast of discovery hole S04-4, was lost after coring only 3.8 metres of bedrock due to drilling problems associated with deep overburden cover. The 3.8 metres of core graded 0.36% Cu and 0.32 g/t Au. A larger drill rig was subsequently brought in and the step-out was successfully completed as hole S05-9. Results for S05-09 are expected next week.

Hole S04-3, drilled to the northwest from the same location as hole S04-4 (drilled southeast), has now been sampled over the entire length of the hole. Hole S04-3 returned 92.3 m grading 0.21% Cu and 0.20 g/t Au. All four holes in the discovery area demonstrate an excellent correlation between Cu and Au grades (1:1 ratio, 0.1 g/t Au for every 0.1% Cu).

Holes S04-5 and 6 were drilled 500 metres to the west of holes 3 and 4 to test another area within the large IP anomaly. Hole S04-5, which tested a chargeability high, intersected highly altered volcanic rock with abundant pyrite, but no significant copper mineralization was encountered. Hole S04-6 tested an area of moderate chargeability flanking the chargeability high and successfully intersected intermittent copper-molybdenum mineralization within an intrusive rock that is more quartz-rich than the intrusive intersected by holes 4 and 8. To date, only selected samples have been taken from S04-6. Core lengths were all 1.5 m with copper grades ranging from less than 0.01% - 0.60% and molybdenum grades ranging less than 0.001% to 0.044%. Additional samples will be analyzed from this hole. This intrusion is either a different intrusion or a separate phase of the intrusion in the copper-gold porphyry discovery area, reflecting the complexity of intrusions and metal zoning in the Seel porphyry system.

This first phase of diamond drilling is now finished with 9 holes
totalling 1630 metres completed. The newly discovered copper-gold porphyry
system has now been intersected over widths in excess of 100 metres. The
1.2 km long, and still open, IP anomaly indicates potential for a large
deposit on the property. The diamond drill has been left on the property so
that drilling can resume as soon as possible.
The diamond drill holes were drilled NQ diameter, excepting the top of
the holes through the breccia zone which were drilled HQ diameter. Core was
halved using a diamond rock saw to cut the core. Half-core samples were sent
to Acme Analytical Labs' facility in Vancouver, B.C. for sample preparation
and analysis. All samples underwent multi-element analysis by ICP/MS. The
breccia zones in holes S04-1 and 2, all samples from hole S04-4 and S05-07 and
most samples from S05-08 were also assayed for gold and copper. Additional
assaying will be undertaken on samples from S05-08 and S04-06. A sample
quality control/quality assurance program is in place. The diamond drill
program is under the supervision of Hans Smit, P.Geo., Vice-President
Exploration for Grayd Resource Corporation, a qualified person under
NI 43-101.
Gold Reach can earn a 61% interest in the Seel property by incurring
$1,000,000 in exploration expenditures before December 31, 2006. Once Gold
Reach has vested, Grayd has 60 days to elect to earn back 10% of the interest
by incurring the next $250,000 in exploration expenditures (effectively
forming a 51% Gold Reach - 49% Grayd Joint Venture). During the earn-in
period, Grayd is the operator.
A drill hole location map can be viewed here and also on both company's
websites along with additional information at www.grayd.com and
www.goldreachresources.com.
