Yousef: *sigh*
Well, your post to me was: "I see no evidence, other than your pronouncements, that AMD intends to use UMC for 0.09u at all." Please "re-read" you post.
Must I recreate our entire conversation? My initial claim was that AMD would only be doing a shrink when going to 0.09u, while Intel would be incorporating low-k and strained sililcon. My premise was that it could be an advantage for AMD and could pose problems for Intel. You responded that AMD would not be converting to 0.09u at Dresden, and that all 0.09u production would be at UMC. I maintain that the primary production will be at Dresden and UMC will be used if extra capacity is needed. You missed my point completely.
I do agree with your earlier statement: "I am ... not a "process genius" "Thanks for clarifying this for everyone ... BTW, I didn't have any doubts on this.
I never claimed to be a "process genius". Nonetheless, you seem very determined to continue to try to insult me by claiming that I am not something that I never claimed to be. If that makes you feel more like a man, then have at it. I am an investor and a scientist. These things interest me, but it is not my livelihood.
Perhaps one day, we will have a conversation about the most appropriate inhalation model to determine committed effective dose equivalent for class "Y" uranium. I might just then be afforded the opportunity to say, with a giggle, that you are clearly not a "Health Physicist". <ggg>
