Oh boy, there is no "flipping" here. Only down in price doesn't make for good trading on a penny. No daytrading here, just dumping slowly on the unsuspecting. Holding, I sort of get emotionally (but it still is the wrong move) - adding?? that is completely self destructive (price proves this fact over and over).
This was stalled by flippers and daytraders, once they lose interest and more and more shares are bought up by strong hands it will be that much harder for mm's to hold it down once the play comes down.
In retrospect, wasn't this a play for flippers?
I also don't think that the MM's cared one way or the other.
