What I think is perhaps the most exciting thing of all for us KATX/G longs is that up until now KATX/G has been bought by small private investors (and maybe one or two instituations but few and far between). This is because there are very few managed funds, hedge funds and so on that's rules would even allow them to invest in a pink sheet stock, let alone one a junior explorer with no proven reserves. Up until now we have been just too early stage for the big money.
I believe this is precisely why Ken bought BVIG and moved Handcamp into it.
Handcamp will be KAT Exploration's first property to get proven up in any way. This first round of drilling will not get us to anywhere near completely showing the proven reserves at the property, but it will be a great starting point. KATG will tick a lot of boxes for institutional investors that would not consider KATX...
1. Fully SEC reporting
2. On OTC/BB not pinksheets
3. Small A/S (and no doubt a smaller still O/S and a yet smaller float)
4. No very high risk yet-to-be-explored properties to consider
5. Very simple proposition - gold is in the ground at Handcamp and therefore KATG is a great investment!
6. Gold is a "hot topic" right now. Everyone is looking to have gold as part of a balanced portfolio
I've said this before, but I believe we are very lucky because we have found a company where... we are in the right industry, with the right CEO, in the right area of the world and at the right time!
