MON—In #msg-52381176, I included higher corn prices as one of the drivers of MON’s recent strength (see the third bullet). Crop prices actually have little effect on how much business MON does in a given year, but most investors think crop prices matter, so they move the share price to some degree.
p.s. Russia and Eastern Europe produce mainly wheat, which is not an important crop for MON (although it will be some day, IMO).
