Here is a summary of some of the major points from the AMLJ CC:
1. The backlog is now at a near record level of $8.4M. For reference the backlog was $5M at March 31st and $7M at December 31, 2009.
2. They intend to publish a list of their major projects on their web site. They believe they will complete this by August 15th. They verbally gave a summary but I was under the impression that the web site list may contain a bit more projects. I calculate that the projects presented have the potential of over $50M in revenue over the next 5 years or an average of roughly $10M/year and these numbers are not included in the current backlog. I recommend listening to the call for this info.
3. They have close to $4M in cash now.
4. The new $3.7M order will have a small impact in Q3 and a major impact in Q4.
5. The new business that they are pursuing has a milestone at the end of the month. They have two additional iterations of the product planned in case the first one doesn't meet their expectation. The second iteration is planned for year end.
6. They have six acquisition targets provided by C.K. Cooper so far and 4 or 5 of them looked interesting to Jacob.
AMLJ continues to be the best long term growth story that I know about.
