1. Knocking off Bush Sr. would be the equivalent of shooting the police chief; knocking off Saddam would be equivalent of knocking off the mafia boss. Do you see the difference? There are certain rights and responsibilities that come with being the most powerful political entity in the world. If we shirk such responsibilities, someone else will take it up from here.

2. That was precisely why I did not say Kuwait being the cause for the last Gulf War; instead, I said the last Gulf War was caused by Saddam's pursuite of nuclear weapons. We had to stop him in that pursuit before a police action would become so prohibitively expensive that he actually successfullly dominates the Persian Gulf.

goodluck, You just don't understand. It's OK for us but not "them" because we have the "true" god on our side. An interesting statistic for a debate would be to find out how many civilians were killed by direct US policy during the last 60 years. Fire bombing of Dresden, Germany and hundreds of others, nuclear bombing of 2 Japanese cities as well as fire bombing hundreds of others come to mind not to even mention indirect deaths such as inciting Iraqi's to overthrow Saddam in 1991. Then research how many civilians have been killed by Muslims in the last 60 years. I wonder what the ratio would come out to be? Then tell me how murderous Muslims are.
