What's the difference its still inside information because you are clearly telling every person who reads your post that Mark told you that he was doing a reverse split before he publicly announced it.
If that's the case and he did tell you that, then shame on Mark for disclosing insider information to a select few individuals rather than the general investing public via a PR. SEC would love that!
