Greetings, Zeev. I greatly appreciate your continuing contributions. I agree that a number of posts to
you cause needless repetition. If I might make a suggestion, you might want to consider listing your
posts that provide an overview of your present thinking among the Favorite Links section at the top
of the thread. I assume that it is possible to do so. Thanks.

In regards to Zeev's calls being wrong or early, or late, they're one of the best sources of information available and remember you can always listen to your broker who has probably been telling you to dollar cost average in since NAZ 5000.

Anyway, bought a bunch more QQQs this morning in the $19.80s and had to disappear for the day. Before I left, I put a sell in at $20.55 for half my total position and lo and behold it hit. I thought there was enough good news to get us a brief rally here and believe we may get some more intraday up opportunities tomorrow but do believe the bear will come back hard due to earnings misses and lowered guidance (all the analysts are getting the heads up and lowering expectations for everyone (see CSCO today) so the news isn't as hard to take so by the time the earnings arrive we may be "priced in" so be careful shorting here).

Still think NAS 1000 is in the cards soon - if we don't get all the way there with Q3 earnings we probably will with Q4.

Zeev and board,
What does anyone think about the Rydex double long NDX fund RYVYX? As you can see it was way up at 637.6 when naz was at 5000. Maybe Zeev can pick the exact bottom but not I. Dollar cost averaging into this longer term shouldn't be too painful from our currant level. What's the possible down side risk.....5 and adding in all the way. From 5 to 500 in the next ten years?
Thoughts,
Fletch

"Have you joined the "Reading challenged" club"

Zeev,
I will take a stab at why this happens. This is an active traders thread and some of us who may trade occasionaly look for your seminal posts and use them as a guide. Then we have our jobs to do. We cant read every post so we concentrate on what we have read and what we consider most important. Cant really follow you successfully that way.
For instance as you know in the summer i was looking to get out of the market entirely at the 1525-1550 predicted top. I was on a business trip and unable to check the board when you called the top at 1425. By the time i got back we were off over 100 naz points and i missed it.
With a 1238? target as the low i judged it did not pay to sell at 1300. So i wait for 1238? and now we are at 1120. I have determined i cannot do this successfully unless i quit my job. So i am unhappy and sit here waiting for 10/24? and with the market falling each day and you saying turn comes late in the month, the nasdaq will be in the tens by the time the rally starts.
Now none of this is your fault at all. You are not a newsletter writer. You selflessly try to help folks make money, but some folks will lose money trying to follow you.
Maybe for those of us reading challenged and hungarian challenged, you could offer a once a week post at a specified time to guide us thru a week at a time? Just a thought. marv

Zeev: Are you saying the reading challenged are the only posters who have trouble following your calls?
