I am taking this to assume that they are in effect plugging acquired companies and their assets into these newly created entities. Something along the lines of ... Such and such company formerly known as _______, a (auto\marine) ______ company providing _______(services)________ located at _______ will now become ______. etc. etc.

Also, if they were private companies, there wouldn't be any stock acquired.
