Buy or Sell Event? Good bet to keep an eye on money flow/volume indicators, as that is where you can detect heavy selling pressure if some take this as a "sell into news" opportunity...
Look for Money Flow to move down (negative divergence) while price movement moves up or stays even. The "tone" of the day is typically understood in the 1st 15 minutes. All indicators up is what you want: Candles above 20MA, Vol+ showing buy pressure, Money Flow increasing, and Volume Accumulation spikes above crossover line.
If it is a sell event, an average barrage lasts about 1.5 hours, followed by fade/drift.
~ 33.5k shares traded last 15 mins Friday and given the seeming delayed reaction from news publication time, odds favor selling pressure.
