The excitement of the call doesn't matter. All that matters is if pirfenidone gets approved in the EU.

if it gets approved it is a forty dollar stock if disapproved it is 4 dollars or less.

My point in bringing up management tone has nothing at all to do with "excitement" per se. Rather, when I listen to these calls I want to hear a management team that sounds upbeat and confident as that leads me to believe things are progressing well with the company. A downtrodden sounding management team, such as the one I heard when I listened to the ITMN call, makes me believe that things aren't progressing so well and/or that management doesn't have confidence in upcoming events. I don't think it would be a big stretch for one to infer after listening to this call that management doesn't have a lot of confidence in pirfenidone approval in the EU. Now, that doesn't mean it won't happen, but management's overall tone didn't instill confidence in me on any front.
