What! Surely you're not insinuating that pharmas, hospitals, insurance companies, etc., have any other motivation besides a genuine concern for humanity?

Why that's like saying BP doesn't care about the environment. Outrageous!

Could be just Sanofi posturing and nothing more.

In all honesty, I'm sure Sanofi knows it's a lost cause and that is why they lowered their sales/profit numbers going forward.

Also, Sanofi's management would be derelict in their duties if they didn't try to protect their crown jewels.
