#26993 RE: Gold Seeker #26992

SO GOLD YOU ADMIT THAT YOU ARE NOT A DOCTOR...and you state, "
I am not the one saying to not use RECAF. That is up to doctors."

Now we have finally advanced to some degree...

The argument that a doctor would not screen for early stages because other diagnostic methods have low sensitivity is patently absurd. It is equivalent to not send somebody a letter because they might have moved... Firstly, many early stage cancers are caught with other diagnostic tools available. Secondly, it is better to know that the cancer will surface somewhere because if a first set of studies is negative, the doctor can run them again next month and if the cancer is growing it might then be detectable. Again, depending on the cancer and its location, this would usually happen before the patient becomes aware that there is something wrong with him/her.

3) Ask your doctor what would he or she prefer: (a) To know, with 100% certainty, that a patient has cancer albeit its location cannot be yet determined or (b) Not to know anything at all which means he/she has to wait until the cancer generates symptoms and signs that prompt the patient to see a doctor.

I agree that those who have NOT gone to medical school should avoid making comments against a test that has the potential to save peoples lives. Especially when they have no idea of what they are talking about. Also, comparisons between companies can lead to absurd conclusions.

i.e. The fate of GM, former largest car manufacturer worldwide would suggest that Ford should also collapse. Well; it did not, it moved from $1 to $12 per share. GM is still bankrupt...
