What’s not uncertain, however, is that Lovenox is a blockbuster drug and a substitutable generic will rack up substantial sales. In this sense, the FDA approval of generic Lovenox is indeed different from the other biotech cases you may be thinking of, where there was doubt about the degree to which a new product would gain traction in the marketplace.
