My guess is they haven't been able to secure more purchase orders for their products. I don't doubt that their target industries have a lot of interest in the PBIS-1000 and the flameless ration heater units. But I'm thinking that the government agencies already have established contracts with their suppliers that they need to honor before spending money on a new supplier/product. Getting that first supply contract is the hardest thing, but if and when they can accomplish this first step, it will get easier (hopefully). So far the only sales they've made are the 3 PBIS-1000 units and a few fuel cans to Kaymont that the PRs state will be used for training purposes. I'm waiting for the day we read that Kaymont sells X number of units to a government client for full implementation in a weather ballon program. And of course it would be awesome to one day hear that the military has approved AFPW as a viable subcontractor for supplying FRH units.

Another potential problem, that someone else on this board has brought up before, is that we can't seem to determine what patents AFPW actually holds. There's PRs out there that reference the company's patents and patent filings, but as far as I know I can't verify that they actually hold a legitimate patent for their technology - whether it be the powder formula, or the PBIS-1000 reactor, or anything else for that matter.

I've sent two emails to Mike Graff of IRG, which is Alumifuel's public relations consultant, and have not received a response either time.
