Did you read what Russel was saying in the March/May period in 2000? Apart of his his being "long winded", I have no other opinion. I find that most of the "letter writers" have a great difficulty in expressing an opinion concisely, as if they think the more they write, the more weight their opinion has. I just no longer read them.
Good post from Richard Russell - well worth reading, and pretty much mirrors my own beliefs about this market and the economy except he may be more bearish on the economy than I.
agdx, I response to Zeev's question re my post from Richard Russell about what Russell was saying in 2000, it is my understanding he was cautious in the late 90's and bearish beginning in mid-late '99.
