What on earth makes you think Lumb is "gone"? Who do you imagine are those noteholders?

With the exception of Searchlight, in which Lumb and Bauman are partners, they're all Lumb companies. All of this has been documented up the wazoo.

What you fail to realize is that Bezzano is one of Lumbs front men and pretty much works for him. Lumb pulls all the strings from behind the curtain. And Lumb only does things which benefit...Lumb.
