o/t- hehe yup!! one right down the street from me!! problem is its loaded with teenies so they might think Im there stalking doh : )

The hardest part of ice skating is the first 10 minutes before you get warmed up.. but unless its sub zero, I usually dont get bothered by the cold..

I still remember those metal roller skates my Mom bought me when I was about 8.. The wheels were actually made of steel hehe.. you would glide down the road and that evening you would still feel the vibrations- sorta like a day riding waves at the beach hehe..

Ok now Im getting depressed thinking about the past hehe.. Funny how you spend your childhood desperately waiting to grow up.. then once you get there? you want to go back!!!

Hey steviee! I've tried roller skating just a couple of times and I was really lousy at it...liked the ice skating better, but can see where it's a nice way to get some exercise. My wife enjoys it a lot though she hasn't gone to a rink since we moved to Az. She has skated around on the sidewalks a bit. She did break her arm going backwards once about 12 years ago, when she was working part-time at a rink in Oklahoma...we always seem to figure out a way to involve some pain it having fun...<GG>...tuna
