Since I have not spoken with Mikey or vetted his lawyer buddy, I do not know whether the interested attorney is a rookie or a seasoned veteran who wants the case because he thinks it is winnable. I will defer to your pronouncement if you have verified both the rookie status you allege and that the attorney is without clients that you keyboard on this message board.
Otherwise, you are just dismissing out-of-hand what might be a legitimate offer to take the civil fraud case on a contingency basis. All IMHO.
