Greg, are you sure that's the solution that you want? I don't want to be burdened by a moderator position on a popular thread like this, but I would do it if there is no other solution. I just think it would be easier if you compromised with some of the people on the thread, first, before throwing in the towel.

I tracked back through all of these various posts about moderation and kept seeing references to some offensive post, blah blah.

I see more "micro-management" of topics, attitudes here than I see even in the continuing criminal conspiracy that is the Manirated AMD Thread on SI.

This is what happens when "moderators" delete posts and then yip-yap about "you should play nice with each other."

Oh, and what happened to the rule about how the children may not discuss or debate delete posts?

Had I paid $120 for a "lifetime" membership, I would now be demanding my money back, pointing out to IHub that stealing my money under false pretenses is theft, and I believe thieves should be dealt with quickly.

I expect I will get cancelled as of this post. No loss.
