Sorry .... I dont believe the dividend nonsense.
Welch is notorious for announcing a dividend and then never paying it.
Cash or stock.

Besides a stock dividend on a falling PPS is just salt in the wound.

Since the divy doesn't cost anything to him, you might be right.

But 5%? That's not exactly something to get excited about, really.

Besides, by the time you DO get it, it'll probably be less that that since in actual dollars invested as the sp is going lower.
