Sorry you are so unobservant. You could, of course, redeem yourself by pointing me to the one economist who gets it right every time, predictively. (I do not need help with explanations as to what snuck up behind all the economists, and why they all failed to anticipate it.) When I read that man's forecasts and watch them come true, and no longer have to wonder what will happen next in the economy, I'll start taking economics seriously.
Just out of curiosity (speaking of blather), have you ever noticed how any two physicists will measure the path of a falling body identically, and how they can even predict (gasp) that path ahead of time, given just a little accurate data as to the forces to be applied?
