These are all reversible immediately on stopping. So if the patient finds the cognitive effects a problem, they stop the drug.



how long does it take the patient to recognize the cognitive effects as a problem? And how long does it take to recover? My sister was on fenphen, and she didn't know what was happening to her. cognitive disturbance, psychotic breakdowns, and depression are just footnotes if you look up the drug.

The patient might not be so fortunate. In my neck of the woods, crossing the street without getting run over requires all the cognition one can muster.
